Adrian, Benjamin (Ben), Jackson and Yifei attended UCAS 2021, a postgraduate symposium co-organized by universities in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Due to the COVID-19 situation, UCAS was held as a virtual conference this year but everything worked out! Adrian talked about the thermal performance of the high-shore limpet Lottia dorsuosa, Ben introduced some preliminary results about the gaping behaviour of the oyster Saccrostrea cuccullata, Jackson presented his MPhil project plan on the spatial and temporal variations in rocky shore species assemblages, and Yifei shared his experience in utilizing information technology to promote and study ecology and biodiversity.
