Gray and Sarah spent part of July visiting Emilio Rolan-Alvarez to continue our collaboration on snail mate choice mechanisms and the influence of thermal conditions on colour polymorphism as part of our joint Spanish Grant 'Causes and consequences of natural polymorphisms in marine gastropods'. It was great to visit again and catch up with collaborators Juan and Antonio in Vigo.
During this time we also joined the XIII International Symposium on Littorinid Biology and Evolution in Vila do Conde, Portugal where we caught up on the latest events in littorinid biology as well as with old friends.
