Congratulations to Yifei who became the first joint PhD student between HKU's Faculty of Science and Northeastern University, USA as part of this new partnership. Yifei will be using computer aided and GIS system approaches to investigate the importance of microscale surface heterogeneities on the distribution and performance of rocky shore species and will be jointly supervised in Hong Kong by Gray and Jin Wu and in Northeastern by Prof Brian Helmuth and Prof Mark Patterson.
